Remodel in Quail Creek
A couple who had a home built in the 1980’s in the beautiful Naples subdivision of Quail Creek was in need of some serious updating. The house was a typical family room/living room and dining room floorplan. Our owners' goal was a great room plan that optimized their view of the lake and golf course behind them. Our design-build team, working closely with the owner, came up with a plan that took full advantage of their views.
Error
The remodel included the disassemble of the house, leaving only the slab, and adding 6’ to the master bedroom side of the house. The difference between the original house and the updated version is night and day. A 24’x10’ high sliding glass wall, a gourmet kitchen with two island workstations, a wine bar and a golf cart bay in the garage were just some of the elements built into their home. Some of the details included walls of nickel gap paneling, coffered and beamed ceiling in both the great room and kitchen areas, and a 16’ tall entry and foyer. Other features included a whole house generator, an enhanced energy savings package, and propane cooking.
